COMMUNITY
Community
‘Community’ is defined as; a place where its inhabitants have shared attitudes, characteristics and interests.
The purpose of OJUNI is to be a safe space where people of all backgrounds, with a shared interest in gaming, feel that they belong.
OJUNI is currently an online community, but we aspire to make real-life connections in the future, via social gatherings and networking events.
We encourage our members to connect and make friends. The beauty of technology means we can build our community without borders or barriers.
INCLUSIVITY
Inclusivity
It’s no secret that the gaming world has its prejudices, and it’s absolutely paramount that OJUNI is inclusive of every single type of human being that games, regardless of your race, age, background, or how you choose to identify.
Elitism and gatekeeping is also a massive issue in the gaming industry. At OJUNI, we believe it doesn’t matter what type of games you play and what you choose to play them on. We don’t want anyone to feel unwelcome just because they don’t have the latest console or the only game they’ve played is Candy Crush.
If you’ve picked up a game, you’re a gamer, and you can still be a gamer even if you haven’t. Join the community and get started.

For many, gaming is an escape when the real world is just too much. OJUNI was initially set up with the aim of bringing trauma survivors together, but has since expanded to provide a safe space for people from all walks of life.
We are huge believers in the benefits that gaming can have on a person’s mental health, whilst maintaining healthy habits and practices.
